Guests’ and caregivers guideline:
Is it a drop-off? Yes, due to the layout of our space, our parties for ages 6 and up are mostly drop-off. The birthday child parents and siblings are of course very welcome to stay and celebrate this special day.
Any other individual occupying space in the studio (with the exception of the parents/guardians of the party boy/girl and their siblings) will count as a ‘guest’ and will be charged accordingly. We invite parents to stay and paint a piece of pottery in the front of the store or they can explore the many area restaurants and shops in town if they would like to stay close. Due to limited space, we only guarantee seating for those that are painting.
Is this a private event? The front of the store remains open unless you rent out the whole studio for an additional charge.
When is the pottery ready for pick up?
Pottery painted will be ready for pick up one week from the date of the event after 3:00 pm. The party host is responsible for telling their guests whether the pottery is going to be picked up by them and delivered or should the parents come individually and pick up their child’s piece. We are not responsible for pottery pieces that are left in the studio two months from the date of the party.
Can I add or remove a guest to my event?
You can add or remove a guest before an event but please let us know as we schedule the assisting staff and prepare the projects for your event in advance.
Is there a minimum/maximum number of guests?
There is a minimum of 8 children included in the package. We can host a maximum of 40 guests
What is the deposit and how is it applied to the event?
There is $90 deposit required at the time of booking your party to secure the date and time. This will be deducted fully from the party total on the date of the party
What if I have to cancel?
Due to limited seating, we ask that you cancel your party reservation at least 14 days before a scheduled party. This allows us to fill the spot. You may cancel by phone or online here. If you change your mind about your event within less than 14 but more than 7 days before the event, we will allow you to reschedule or offer you a credit to your account, but we do not offer refunds. You can use these credits for any future studio event or walk-in session. You will lose your deposit if the party is canceled less than seven days before the event.
*We reserve the right to cancel an event due to inclement weather conditions that would make it unsafe for our staff/customers to travel to the studio. We will work with you to reschedule the party should it be cancelled due to severe weather conditions.
How much time in advance should I book the party?
The earlier you book the more flexible is the schedule. To ensure the space, date and time of your choice, please try to book your party at least 2 weeks in advance. If you should need to schedule a party after hours, please call the studio for more information.
Do we tip?
The gratuity is not included in the listed price above. A minimum of a 15% gratuity is suggested for the studio assistants assisting you with the party.
