A guided, step-by-step pottery painting project inspired by a children’s story, for little ones and their grown-ups.

Every Story 'n' Paint party is a guided, step-by-step pottery painting project inspired by a children's story: each child paints a salad plate or cereal bowl, and halfway through we pause for story time. With help from a parent or caregiver, children use brushes, sponges, Q-tips and their own fingerprints, and our artists add the finishing details and personalization.

Who stays
This is a paint-together party: one parent or caregiver per child stays and helps, plus the hosts.
Booking
A $90 deposit holds your date. Please book at least two weeks ahead.
Cancellations
14 or more days before: eligible for a refund.
7 to 14 days before: reschedule or take studio credit (no refund).
Less than 7 days before: the deposit is forfeited.
If we cancel because of severe weather, we’ll work with you to reschedule.
Food & drinks
Bring your own food, cake and drinks (not included in the price). Food that doesn’t need a fridge or heating works best. Our party assistants help set up, serve and clean up. Adults 21+ may bring their own drinks where allowed; the studio doesn’t sell, serve or provide alcohol.

Questions

Is the party area private?

Your party area is reserved for your group. The front of the studio stays open to other customers unless you rent the whole studio, which has an extra fee.

How far ahead should we book?

At least two weeks ahead. A $90 deposit holds your date.

How many guests can we have?

Most packages start at 8 guests, and you can have up to 40. You can change your guest count before the party.

When is the pottery ready?

One week after the party, after 3 PM. The host can pick up everything and hand it out, or guests can pick up their own pieces. We can’t hold pottery for more than two months.

Can we bring food and drinks?

Bring your own food, cake and drinks (not included in the price). Food that doesn’t need a fridge or heating works best. Our party assistants help set up, serve and clean up. Adults 21+ may bring their own drinks where allowed; the studio doesn’t sell, serve or provide alcohol.

What if we need to cancel?

Is gratuity included?

No. If you were happy with your party assistants, we suggest at least 15%, in cash.
