Thanksgiving is all about family, food and togetherness. But what if this year, instead of bringing another pumpkin pie, you brought something a little more creative?
Start a new tradition: an ornament painting party
At A Maze in Pottery, you can order ceramic Christmas ornaments to paint at home and bring them to your Thanksgiving gathering. Set out some paints and brushes, gather everyone around the table, and let the creativity begin.
Who knows? You might awaken the hidden Picasso in your auntie, who usually spends Thanksgiving talking about her back pain. Or discover that Grandpa, who traditionally falls asleep right after dinner, is actually a talented ornament designer.
The best part? No artistic talent required, no age limits, and absolutely no awkward political debates necessary.
Painting together brings out laughter, creativity and conversations across generations, plus a little relaxation after all that holiday excitement. And imagine decorating your Christmas tree year after year with ornaments painted by Grandma, Grandpa, cousins and the little ones. Each one becomes a treasured family memory.
Bring something more memorable than dessert
Order your paint-your-own Christmas ornaments from A Maze in Pottery in Briarcliff Manor, NY, and turn your Thanksgiving gathering into a creative new family tradition. Our Pottery Party To Go comes with the pieces, paints and supplies to use at home; bring everything back and we glaze and fire it for you.
Because pies disappear, but handmade memories last forever.
